I love coffee and this little baby makes a great cup. Here are some points that may be useful for you to know:
Positives:
* Do not take much space on the counter and looks nice is silver with metallic accents.
* The water tank is a good size, you can do about 8-10 shots before needing to recharge, which is very easy to do, and there is a clear section behind the basket, showing the water level.
* Fast heat-up time (only about a minute), although the bubble wand, no waiting time between the foam and beer (but you must wait a little bit of beer and foam).
Be warned:
* To boost Wand is only 3 1 / 4 inches on the bench. It is great, I went and bought a foam cup that is on this point.
* The Cart is exposed Distance tray only 2 1 / 2 inches, I usually use a small cup of espresso.
* Built-in tamper sucks, buy a good metal.
* You do not end with a nice hard and dry, the basket of ground is a clear soup after the coffee is done, then I dump for disposal.
* You’ll end up drinking more espresso you mean is that good!
Seriously, I chose this machine after much research online and decided on it based on their outstanding reviews and great prices. What drew me to him were the comments of other Longhi, the EC140B, which is an older and less attractive, but he had opinions of people who held from 6 to 10 years! I hope that this will have the same longevity.
—–> UPDATE: I had this machine for 8 months and started to run very slowly. I was using only distilled water, so I knew it was not a problem of calcification, then I looked inside and it proves that machines like this (not flushing) should be cleaned every month or two reasons for removing built to work his way into the machine. Then I ran some cleaner with him and all that nasty brown liquid came out, and now it runs great again! So, remember that people take good care of your business and they take care of you. The lesson I keep learning …
